GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (KSNB) - Grand Island's Heritage at Sagewood was celebrating love by renewing vows for five of their resident couples.
The couples' families were invited to the ceremony and they had a brief reception after.
For Marilyn and Donald Green, the first time they said those vows were almost 68 years ago. They're just as much in love today as they were the first time around and just as excited for the ceremony.
"I just thought it really was very touching, a very nice thing to do," Marilyn said. "It really makes you stop and think about life. We've had a great marriage."
Others living there helped with setting up for the ceremony including decorating for the reception and making the cake.
