Orchard Pointe at Surprise

Frequently Asked Questions

Assisted living provides valuable support with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and using the bathroom. We conduct a health care assessment of all our residents before they move in so we can determine how much help they need.

Memory care is a secure and stable environment ideal for residents living with Alzheimer’s disease and various forms of dementia. We lead with compassion, delivering assistance with everything from day-to-day tasks to social activities that promote well-being.

We also offer residents the ability to transition into memory care within our community. As you or your loved one’s needs change, they’ll be in the right environment.

We understand you may have concerns about how to pay for a senior living stay, particularly if you’ve never made a major commitment like this before. Orchard Pointe  Communities only accepts private forms of payment.  Orchard Pointe Communities does not accept state or federally-funded programs aside from Veteran’s Aid and Attendance. Residents often use savings accounts, retirement funds, or the money that comes from selling their previous home. There are also many privately offered long-term care insurance options you can utilize that may provide coverage for costs of in-home care, assisted living stays, or extended residency in a nursing home.

Heritage Communities’ guide on how to fund your senior living needs can provide additional information. You can also check out our free family decision tool kit guide to learn more about the benefits of senior living.

Orchard Pointe at Surprise’s residents rave about the close-knit, Midwestern feel of our community. The property is just the right size physically and in the number of residents to navigate easily and develop strong connections with your neighbors. We’re also tucked peacefully away in The Orchards neighborhood, which has a calm residential atmosphere.

One of the biggest things that stands out about our Surprise senior living homes is that we have central air conditioning, which is a rarity in Arizona. Our apartments also all have walk-in closets and a personal ”front porch” located in the hallway at your apartment entrance that our residents enjoy decorating seasonally.
