How We Enjoy Grand Island Life Off Campus

Cultural attractions abound in Grand Island. Here are just a few that are part of our 2022 calendar.
Crane Trust Nature and Visitor Center is dedicated to protecting and maintaining the Big Bend area of the Platte River so that it continues to function as a life support system for a variety of migratory cranes as well as the Crane Trust Bison, a native and endangered mammal.
If you love to learn new things while also being outdoors, you will enjoy the Stuhr Museum of the Prairie Pioneer. Spread across 200 acres and incorporating 100 different structures, there’s no end to what you’ll find at this highly interactive and remarkable museum.
