Welcome to Heritage Communities, Lori Higuera!

Heritage Communities has appointed Lori Higuera as Executive Director of Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead. With 100 apartments, the premier Glendale, Arizona senior living community offers both assisted living and memory care services. As Executive Director, Higuera will be responsible for all operational facets within the community, including resident experience, quality of care, programming directives and leading a team of nearly 60 associates.

“I am humbled and honored to transition into the servant leader role of administrator at Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead,” says Higuera. “The ability to have direct interaction with residents and make a positive impact in their life motivates me to improve operational efficiencies and the overall resident experience.”

Lori has over 20 years in health care, with 10 of those years spent directly in senior living. Starting as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting, Lori moved to home care, and ultimately found her passion in senior living. Her natural ability to connect with people has helped her emerge as a leader everywhere she goes.  Training and encouraging people to be the best version of them self is what Lori enjoys the most.

“Along with the entire Heritage Communities leadership team, I am excited to welcome Lori to Orchard Pointe at Arrowhead,” says Regional Director of Operations, Rhonda Thiel. “Joy is Lori’s life word, and is a true reflection of her personality. Her goal in this role is to create a joyful working environment for her team, which translates into exceptional care for residents.”
